Only theses written in the last ten years are held in the Baillieu Library. The remainder of the collection is held in off-site storage. Four working days notice is required for retrieval of material held off-site. Researchers are permitted to undertake self-copying of material, according to the Reading Room copying policy.
We accept requests from University, Government, Public or Special Libraries and private researchers within Australia and internationally for copies of whole theses. All requests for copies of material held at the University of Melbourne Library must comply with the Copyright Act of Enquires to digitisation-theses unimelb.
